manic monday ...

 The weekend was very busy, so busy that this morning coming into work felt like I was coming off a long vacation away ... without any relaxation.

 Saturday started with getting my hair cut and a little peek-a-boo color put in.  The green washed out to yellow, and the purple became pink, but the blue seems to have stayed the same.  I wanted to just get that "crazy aunt everyone warned you about" vibe going before the end of the month.  I like it and will probably do it again in the fall, maybe with reds, oranges, and yellows for the leaves.

 The rest of the day was running errands, some shopping, and getting a few things done at the house.  Which included a much-needed bath for Charlie, which was followed up by a hair trim the next morning.  Almost had enough hair cut off to make another puppy!

 

 For craft-elaxation, I've been working on some decoupage with paper napkins just for fun.

 On the left are some captured spring flowers on a wood cutout of a mason jar.  On the right, are sunflowers and chickens on a tobacco basket.

  All in all, it was a good and productive weekend.  I'm now sorting through items to donate to a charity that is fundraising to turn an old hospital into apartments for the homeless.
